About Liuyishou

Most popular AYCE hot pot restaurant, over 1000 restaurants worldwide.

Located at 9889 Bellaire Blvd Ste C-309, Houston, TX 77036, Liuyishou operates as a hot pot serving Houston in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–12 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (713) 239-0929. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is liuyishouna.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 5,402 reviews, which is a strong result for a hot pot in Houston and suggests consistent service.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had a really great experience here. My girlfriend got the mushroom broth and I got the premium beef tallow broth, and honestly, both were really good. We went with the AYCE menu and added the snakehead fish as an extra. The premium beef tallow broth was definitely my favorite. Every time I added a new batch of meat and let it cook in the broth with the peppers, peppercorns, and beef tallow, everything came out amazing. The broth has a really good spicy and numbing flavor. When you get a good bite of the peppercorns, you get that nice ιΊ» (mΓ‘) numbing sensation along with a spicy kick. It’s one of those flavors that keeps you going back for another bite. I also really liked pairing the meat with their sesame sauce, which I believe is called mΓ‘jiΓ ng (ιΊ»ι…±) in Chinese. It goes really well with the spicy broth and the meat. The AYCE selection was good, and the side dishes/appetizers were also a nice touch. The salads and sides went really well with the meat and helped balance everything out. And getting a free Blue Bell ice cream at the end was a really nice touch. Definitely appreciated that after a spicy hotpot meal πŸ˜‚. Overall, great experience. Good food, good broth, nice selection

Liu Yi Shou is really good! The hot pot broth is rich and flavorful, and the spice level is just right. The ingredients are fresh, the meat quality is great, and the portions are generous. The service is also excellent. The staff are friendly, attentive, and quick with refills and clearing plates. Overall, it was a very satisfying dining experience. I would definitely come back again!

Food was great and they had enough space to tend to our part of 10. So many options for protein and vegetables. Different broths to satisfy anyone’s flavor profile. Service by Rachel was wonderful, she made sure we got what we needed everytime we asked for something. We went during Easter, and it was pretty busy, so keep that in mind but overall this won’t be our last time here.

Overall - glad I tried it as it was yummy but probs not interested in coming back Menu - it’s an AYCE style with certain dishes you have to pay extra for. For AYCE, it starts off around $28/per person and then you can either choose an individual broth ($6-10 depending on which size) or a shared two broth bowl for the group (about $14 total). So, it’s about $35-40 per person for the AYCE. Lots of options to put in your hot pot (surprisingly no bok choy though), so if you’re a fan of it, def can get the bang for your buck. Not a huge meat connoisseur but did think the meats tasted high quality as well. As for the broth, the #1 broth spice lvl is NO JOKE even at MILD. Avoid it if you can’t tolerate any spice. Menu was aesthetic n easy to read, though it would’ve been better to include small pics of hot pot stuff. Service - started off strong w the waiters checking in on us and explaining how the process goes. You order through the waiter so I suggest writing everything you want in your notes n just letting them read it rather then order as you go (bc depending on the noise lvl, might be hard to understand what both sides r saying). Towards the end, felt like it was harder to get the
